Our company has been involved with Visual Studio Team System and Team Foundation Server since the pre-Betas,
when it was referred to only as
Burton. Needless to say, we have extensive experience with
this product.
One of Accentient’s founders, Richard Hundhausen, authored the Microsoft Press book
Working
with Visual Studio 2005 Team System. Accentient also worked intimately with
Microsoft to design the
Microsoft Official Curriculum (MOC).
Accentient was responsible for the Team System content and demonstrations used
at the Visual Studio 2005 worldwide launch. Our expertise was acknowledged by Microsoft
in October 2005, when its founders were given
MVP awards in Visual Studio Team System. In fact, all of Accentient’s
consultants are individuals who have outstanding credentials and community recognition.
In 2009, in cooperation with Microsoft and
Ken schwaber,
Accentient created the
Professional Scrum Developer
training course. This course, the first of its kind, teaches teams how to use modern software engineering
practices to develop an increment of completed, potentially shippable functionality using Scrum and
Visual Studio 2010. The training, assessment, and certification programs will be launched in parallel with
Visual Studio 2010.
In 2010, Microsoft has again asked Accentient to create content and assist with the
launch of Visual Studio. Look for us in Las Vegas, April 12th, 2010 demonstrating the
capabilities of
Visual Studio 2010.
Accentient is a company that has proven itself within the developer community and
we continue to exceed the expectations of our clients.
